Our history.
Merritt Limousine Company was founded in 1995 by our President and Chief Operating Officer, David L. Krueger, Jr. Fmr. Sergeant, United States Marine Corps. A CH-53E Super Stallion Helicopter Crewchief from 1986-1993, David is a decorated veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. David is a graduate of Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California and continues to pursue his graduate education at the University of Connecticut. Highly committed to community service and philanthropy, David sits on the board of the Getabout Senior Van Service in New Canaan and assists in managing outreach and fundraising for various churches and organizations. David resides in New Canaan CT.
Our drivers.
At Merrit Limousine, our drivers are the most important resources in our service to you, our elite customers. By applying the principles of honor, integrity and commitment, we attract and maintain a professional driver elite. Our drivers undergo pre-employment screening, in-house training and testing and continuing random drug screenings to insure their constant reliability. They are required to be as scrupulously presentable and polite as our luxury sedans. Previous experience in the military, security and medical professions are considered assets in our applicants.
